From the Club
Dear Runners,
The Runners Club, as it is our tradition every year, welcomes you to the Annual Distance Challenge.
We will have three (3) categories as follows:
Elite mileage. You're putting in serious weekly volume — most runners hit this with consistent 40 km+ weeks.
Strong, consistent training year. Roughly 20–40 km per week — marathon-ready mileage.
A great first goal — about 10–20 km per week, three active days, every week.
For those who will not achieve 500 km, you will not be categorized for medals or prizes. We will however recognize your efforts and encourage you to prepare to do better next year.
The aim of this challenge is not competitiveness but to develop an active lifestyle with at least three active days in a week.
The challenge runs from 1 January to 31 December. You are urged to join one of the fitness tracking applications approved by the Club so we can track your progress and motivate you during the year:
