Club Membership

Any person of good character, integrity, social repute with an interest in participating in the Club's sporting and social activities and has attained the age of 18 years shall, subject to the provisions in the Constitution of the Club, be eligible for admission to membership of the Club.

*The annual fee includes entries to the Club's two main races – Dar City Marathon and Dar Night Run. Entrance fees are paid upon joining. Annual subscription and development fees are paid yearly in advance by 31st March, or in two equal instalments by 31st March and 30th June.

Membership Benefits

All members have the rights and benefits established under the Club Constitution — including the right to vote, contest for leadership positions, and access the Club's budgets, financial reports, periodic and annual reports and other documents upon request.

All members receive Club identification such as electronic plastic cards, bank co-branded cards and/or unique identification wristbands.

  • ✓Marathon after-parties and annual gala dinners with awards and Annual Distance Challenge medals
  • ✓Members' support during hardship such as prolonged illness, accidents, major injuries and bereavement, per the Club By-Laws
