About DNR9

The Dar Night Run is The Runners Club's flagship after-dark race. What began in 2016 with a few hundred runners has grown into a nine-season tradition drawing thousands from across Tanzania and the region.

Season 9 lands on Saturday, 29 August 2026. Expect closed roads, lit-up landmarks, live entertainment along the course, hydration and cheer zones every kilometre, and a finish-line party that runs long into the night.

Whether you're chasing a personal best on the 15K or locking in a fast 10K, DNR9 has a start line for you.
