Board of Trustees

Sebastian is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. He is an experienced HR Practitioner and Consultant in mining, telecommunications, manufacturing/FMCG, print media, and health insurance. He is a graduate in Public Administration with post-graduate training in Law and Human Resources Management (MSc).

Neema is the Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and a Founding Member of the Club. She is a graduate in Computer Science, a former banker, and an entrepreneur. She is currently the Managing Director of Stonegate Investment Company Limited with business interests in sports merchandise, events management, petroleum, and hospitality.

Utore Lema is the President, Trustee, and Founding Member of the Club. He is an accountant and a graduate in business administration (MBA), a former executive in banking and an entrepreneur. He is currently based in Dar es Salaam with business interests in trade, events management, real estate, and hospitality.

Hitesh is a member of the Board of Trustees. He is a pharmaceutical industry leader with experience in India and Africa for more than 25 years mainly at Ranbaxy, Novartis, IPCA, Aurobindo, Aspen, Jupiter, and Zenufa. He has also served as a board member of the Tanzania Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Association. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree (BSc) with post-graduate training in Business Administration (eMBA).

Othman is a member of the Board of Trustees. He is an experienced Operations and Logistics Manager having worked in the commercial industry and with NGOs and currently he is Head of Logistics at Simusolar Limited. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology and certifications in Humanitarian Supply Chain Management, Humanitarian Logistics and Rural Road Construction.

Amitel is a member of the Board of Trustees. He is a graduate in Computer Science (BSc) from the University of Dar es Salaam and an entrepreneur. He is currently the Managing Director (MD) of MAXIMA Group with business interests in international trade, transportation and logistics, petroleum, clearing and forwarding, and retail trade.

Catherine is a member of the Board of Trustees. She is a trained journalist with a BA in Journalism from Tumaini University and also a business administration (MBA) graduate from Mzumbe University. She has worked as a TV Presenter (TRENET) and Public Relations Officer (RAHCO) and currently she is a Customer Services Manager at TRC

Hassan is a member of the Board of Trustees and Founding Member of the Club. He is a seasoned banking executive and a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam (B.Com) and Coventry University (MSc in Finance and Investment). He has worked with Barclays, Ernest & Young, Marie Stopes Tanzania and currently at Ecobank Tanzania as Head of Compliance

Doreen Joseph is the Honorary Secretary of the Club and the Board of Trustees. She is a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam (MBA), a seasoned banking executive, and an entrepreneur. She is currently a Chief Risk Manager at DCB Commercial Bank Plc and Managing Director (MD) of DOTS Limited with interests in clothing, transport, tourism, and hospitality

Silvest is the Honorary Treasurer of the Club and the Board of Trustees. He is an experienced banking executive and an entrepreneur. He has worked at the Bank of Tanzania, Innovex Auditors, FNB, and NBC. He is currently the Managing Director (MD) at Akiba Commercial Bank Plc and a proprietor at VASA Investment with interests in automobile spare parts and real estate. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam (B.Com) and the University of Leeds (MA).
