The Runners Club

Who We Are

The Runners Club is the largest social running club in Tanzania in terms of number of members, followers and supporters. The Club is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with more than 1,000 members across the country mainly in the cities of Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Tanga, Mtwara, Moshi, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Iringa and Mbeya.

The Runners Club strives to be the best running club across the country, not by being the most competitive, as we are not trying to make Olympians out of everyone, but by providing the best possible environment for all runners to enhance their running experience and achieve their running and other social goals.

The Runners Club is organized as a running community where we come together for running and other sports activities for a healthy lifestyle, fitness networking and support for our friends and members. We also organize weekdays and Saturdays groups runs and participation in the selected local, regional and international marathons and races.
