Amitel Uisso
President
Amitel Uisso is the President and Trustees Member. He is a graduate in Bachelor of Science with Education (BSc with Ed) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Masters in IT(Msc IT and Mgt) from Avinnashilingam University/IFM . He is currently the Managing Director (MD) of MAXIMA Group of companies with business interests in international trade, transportation and logistics, clearing and forwarding, IT solutions, Customs Freight Stations and Cash Crop Export Trade.
Godphrey Mindu
Vice President
Godphrey is a vice president of the Events and Sports sub-committee. He is an experienced sales and marketing execution expert in manufacturing/FMCG having worked with SAB Miller, Namibia Breweries, MeTL, and Coca-Cola. He is a graduate in Business Administration (BBA) majoring in Marketing with post-graduate training in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSc).
Godfrey Mwanakulya
Honorary Secretary
Godfrey Richard Mwanakulya serves as the Honorary Secretary of The Club. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Dar es Salaam. With over 15 years of experience in project planning, strategic leadership, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement, Godfrey brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He currently works as the Project Technical Manager at T-MARC Tanzania, where he leads and supports impactful health and development initiatives.
Faudhiath Kangesa
Faudhiath H. Kangesa serves on the Board of Trustees. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dar es Salaam. A seasoned banker with a specialization in Credit, she has held roles at I&M Bank (T) and Exim Bank (T), and currently serves as the Corporate Credit Manager at NBC Bank
Neema Ayoub
Neema Ayoub is the trustee member of runners club of Tanzania Holder msc finance from strathclyde university Scotland. Proffesional banker from milipalk business school from South Africa. Certified board member from Esami and Association of Tanzania Employee Experienced banker over 20yrs She is a Rotarian at Dar es salaam mzizima club. She is a toastmaster from juhudi club at crdb bank plc. Currently working with CRDB bank palm beach premier branch
Maria Mosha-Mtenga
Assistant Secretary TRC
Maria is an experienced corporate finance executive for over 30 years in the hospitality, mobile network and mining sector. She has worked with Sun International & Orange Mobile in Botswana and Makomo Resources in Zimbabwe & South Africa. She worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Dar as an intern before completing her Accountancy Studies in London at Emile Woolf International in the United Kingdom where she attained fellowship as an FCCA. Maria is semi-retired but still consults with mining firms in SADC, as she continues to manage various family businesses in the entertainment and real estate sectors.
Bruno Sunguya
Bruno Sunguya serves as the Chairman, Board of Trustee of The Runners Club. He is a Professor of Public Health Nutrition, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Consultancy at Muhimbili University of Health & Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Visiting and Liaison Professor (Kumamoto University Japan), International Scholar at the Center of Global Health, University of Pennsylvania and Honorary Senior Fellow (Oxford University). Dr. Sunguya holds a PhD (2015) and an MSc (2012) from Tokyo University, Japan, and a Doctor of Medicine degree (2006) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The renown researcher and academician also serves as an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and Tanzania Medical Journal, a member of a number of national committees, the WHO Nutrition Guidance Expert Advisory Group-Subgroup on Diet and Health, and member of Board of Trustee for Ocean Road Cancer Institute. A father of four daughters and mentor to a number of junior scientists, Bruno is an avid marathon runner
