Club Management

Utore Lema is the President, Trustee, and Founding Member of the Club. He is an accountant and a graduate in business administration (MBA), a former executive in banking and an entrepreneur. He is currently based in Dar es Salaam with business interests in trade, events management, real estate, and hospitality.

Dr. George Ruhago is the Vice President of the Club and the chairperson of the Marketing and Public Relations sub-committee. He is an experienced Health Economist with experience as a senior lecturer at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and consultant for international organizations in developing countries. He is a PhD holder in Health Economics and Priority Setting from the University of Bergen (UiB).

Doreen Joseph is the Honorary Secretary of the Club and the Board of Trustees. She is a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam (MBA), a seasoned banking executive, and an entrepreneur. She is currently a Chief Risk Manager at DCB Commercial Bank Plc and Managing Director (MD) of DOTS Limited with interests in clothing, transport, tourism, and hospitality

Silvest is the Honorary Treasurer of the Club and the Board of Trustees. He is an experienced banking executive and an entrepreneur. He has worked at the Bank of Tanzania, Innovex Auditors, FNB, and NBC. He is currently the Managing Director (MD) at Akiba Commercial Bank Plc and a proprietor at VASA Investment with interests in automobile spare parts and real estate. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam (B.Com) and the University of Leeds (MA).

Georvine is the vice-chairperson of the Marketing and Public Relations sub-committee. He is a business graduate (BBA) from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), a Google verified street viewer photographer with experience in sales and marketing. He is currently working at NBM Plc as a Bank Officer.

Godphrey is the co-chairperson of the Events and Sports sub-committee. He is an experienced sales and marketing execution expert in manufacturing/FMCG having worked with SAB Miller, Namibia Breweries, MeTL, and Coca-Cola. He is a graduate in Business Administration (BBA) majoring in Marketing with post-graduate training in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSc).

Wencelaus is the co-chairperson of the Events and Sports sub-committee. He is an experienced tour guide and a tour operator at Intrepid Tanzania Tours and Safaris based in Moshi. He is a business graduate (BBA) from the Open University of Tanzania.
